Fire Stone

I'd like to write a song called`Fire Stone ' I would also like to own a building like this to have a rock school where local loud musicians could come and practice and perform. It would be great as a loft style painting studio and live-in gallery space. The world of music and creating art is very tied together for my interests. This building is very expressive to me. It faces west so the sun shines and sets on it's bright red surfaces and shapes. The shapes remind me of our Canadian flag.

Bass in Hand

There is way to much `Theory' in the world. Being human means interacting and touching the world around you. Being even more human and more alive to me means to be creative...to give to the world something new...something unheard of before.
Touch the instruments of your choice and find your voice.

Bass Strings

They say there is a `String Theory' to what makes up `us' and our universe...if that it true I say it all begins with bass strings.

Sunny Days

I smile much more when the sun is shining:) I am smiling in this picture because my CD is almost ready to be delivered to the `Mastering House' This is where brilliant enginnering will take place to try and make something that sounds good...and make it sound great....ready for radio...etc etc.
Smiling....is very healthy...try it... the rewards are worthwhile:)

Turntable for 45's

I found this old RCA Turntable for 45's in the garbage. What a unique machine that was an important step to bringing music into the world...which seemed `revolutionary' at the time.

Machine Head

Here is a beautiful image of the machine head section of my bass. I own a unique one of a kind renovated and modified self re-designed BC Rich Mockingbird bass. I had specialists strip out the rosewood fretboard and put in ebony and new mother of pearl diamond shaped fret markings. It's a beautiful instrument with a long narrow neck that feels right when I am being imaginative and inventive.

My Rack

Being a recording artist is a big responsibility which involves years of learning and experimenting. Pieces of equipment have to be well taken care of. I was lucky to buy this old Bell Telephone 19"rack tower that I now use to keep gear up off the ground and in a stationary, clean safe place.

My Yellow Chair In My Blue Room

This is my chair I use to listen back to music tracks I have created. Born out of the sixties...perhaps even in 1967 when we Canadians celebrated our nations birthday and Expo '67. The spirit of inventiveness shines through this chair into me as I work. Like rays of sun and life giving forces.

My Hands Touch The Strings

The guitar is a new instrument to me where suprises are created all the time. I taught myself how to be inventive on the guitar.
It's all about new ideas, new lines, sounds and parts I haven't heard before. I don't really know what I am doing `exactly'...which is a very important ingrediant to being creative.

Bass Detail

My Bass is usually the centre point of each of my songs....strong lines that try to draw the listener in.
