Song List

Here is the list of names of the songs that I will have on my CD. In the near future I will be blog the lyrics and I will also write a little bit as to why I wrote about such topics. Behind every good song there is a good story.

Mastering is an Art

Last week I mastered my music through Metalworks via the talents of Scott Lake. His skills and artistry helped make my music come to life in a big way.

Some Stairs Are Meant to Be Climbed

Up the stairs I climb...from the unknown to the unknown. This flight is rock hard.

Voice Instrument

There are an infinite amount of ways to be yourself in music and in art. `Truly' finding yourself may take a lifetime.

Speed River

Even though it's not that `speedy'...it runs through our city and at times it is very photogenic.
Years ago there was a rock band in Ontario called `Speed River'.

Where Is Luke McBain?

Luke...you posted a comment here on my blogsite. I tried to e-mail you back but that address doesn't work. Could you please e-mail me? How is Berlin...how is the filmmaking going? Do you remember this place here in Guelph Canada? It's a tunnel where we shot a video many years ago. Today Guelph Canadians freely paint and add their graffiti marks. I have photographed the place quite extensively and I place to use images from here for my CD insert. It represents where I live and the creative manner in which people express themselves in a free way. We live is a free society...or do we? Regardless of the penny less I had to pay for my Tim Hortons coffee this morning...I still feel that Canada is a wonderful place to live. Happy Canada Day Luke!...wherever you are in this world! (P.S. since you have dual citizenship ...why don''t you come back and visit...and I will buy you one of those famous `Maple Dip Doughnuts'!!!)

17

I like taking pictures of construction/de-construction. It reveals the change that is going around us all the time. Where I live here in Guelph they have demolished most of the hockey arena called `Memorial Gardens'. in the foreground you can still see the flat area where a goal net used to be. They are saving a stone wall to add to the new architecture which will be an extension of a new city hall. The numbers where seating used to be is still visible....especially 17. One of my songs on my CD is called `17'. When I was young I saw many bands perform in this place, along with hockey games. Some of the Canadian Bands I saw perform here and other spots in Guelph were, April Wine, Edward Bear (and the New Potatoes), Thundermug, David Clayton Thomas, Brutis, Crowbar, Lighthouse, Copperpenny, A Foot in Cold Water, Max Webster, Rush, Rain, Nash the Slash, Aarron Space, Lee Ashford, Fludd,Thor and the Imps, Jean Luke Ponte, and many others.
